I Blue tornano insieme!

La boy-band torna insieme per un concerto il 7 giugno a Londra! La famosa boy-band britannica ha annunciato una reunion in vista di un concerto che li vedrà insieme sullo stesso palco e che si terrà il prossimo 7 giugno all’Emirates Stadium di Londra. Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe, Duncan James e Antony Costa si sono esibiti insieme per l’ultima volta nel 2005, quando hanno deciso di intraprendere strade diverse. Nel corso di un’intervista per l’emittente radiofonica inglese Capital FM hanno fatto l’annuncio ufficiale della reunion. I ragazzi non hanno rilasciato notizie a proposito dei loro progetti futuri e di un possibile nuovo album, ma hanno espresso la loro gioia e la grande voglia di esibirsi di nuovo insieme.

Fujitsu FLEPia, l’e-book diventa a colori

Dopo una lunga gestazione è finalmente pronto FLEPia, l’e-book di Fujitsu che, secondo le aspettative, dovrebbe di fatto essere una pietra miliare nel settore di questi apparati, dal momento che mette per la prima volta a disposizione uno schermo a colori.

Quello che da tempo viene indicato come Kindle-killer, in risposta al dispositivo realizzato da Amazon su espresso volere del suo numero uno Jeff Bezos, può contare su un display da 8 pollici in risoluzione XGA (1024×768 pixel in formato 4:3), capace di visualizzare 262144 colori.
Tra le altre caratteristiche si segnalano la presenza del supporto a Bluetooth e d al wireless 802.11, oltre a disporre di uno spazio di memorizzazione di 4 GB tramite una memory card di tipo SD (Secure Digital), per uno spessore complessivo dell’oggetto vicino al centimetro.

Secondo quanto dichiarato da Jay-Z in un’intervista, tutti i suoi fan dovranno attendere ancora molto per ascoltare il nuovo album “Bluesprint 3″.

Il rapper ha dichiarato: “Per il processo di scrittura di un disco ?? molto difficile…ci sono molte cose a cui devo stare attento. Devo controllare tutto e mi serve del tempo per farlo. Non ho nessuna deadline e questa ?? una cosa buona. Forse ho bisogno di avere delle restrizioni. Se avessi avuto dei limiti potrei averlo completato nel giro di 3 settimane.” Ragazzi, ci vorr?? quindi un po’ di pazienza prima di avere nello sterio il seguito di “American Gangster”(2007)…

I Lynyrd Skynyrd sono tornati!

La legegndaria band americana del movimento southern rock mondiale, Lynyrd Skynyrd, torna in Italia per una data esclusiva al Palasharp di Milano, appuntamento per il 3 Giugno.

La set list della grande adunata sudista, guidata dai generali Van Zant e Rossington, comprenderà tutti i grandi classici della band, da “Sweet Home Alabama” a “Free Bird”, “Saturday Night Special”, “Travellin Man” e così via. Blues, country, cadenze hard-rock e tanta sana ribellione condita da un look decisamente “on the road” fanno dei Lynyrd Skynyrd una band imperdibile dal vivo per tutti i fan della musica più viscerale e sanguigna.

Martina Topley in Italia per tre date da non perdere…

Martina Tolpley Bird coglierà l’occasione per presentare il suo nuovo album – The Blued God – in tre imperdibili date italiane.

“The Blue God” supera le asprezze dell’album di debutto “Quixocotic” e si presenta come un lavoro estremamente curato e arrangiato e decisamente di spessore. Frutto di tre mesi di registrazione a Los Angeles e della prestigiosa collaborazione del produttore di culto Danger Mouse (Gorillaz, Beck), cioè l’altra meta’ dei Gnarls Barkley, il risultato e’ un album che coniuga un’attitudine alle melodie dolci e sinuose, come nella migliore tradizione trip hop, a lievi accenni psichedelici e un piglio decisamente noir.

I Gallon Drunk indata unica a Milano!

Il 30 Ottobre, presso la Casa 139 di Milano, si esibiranno i Gallon Drunk.

La band nasce nei primi anni ‘90 a Londra e, con i primi singoli blues e rock’n roll stampati sulla loro etichetta personale, diventano subito una band cult in Inghilterra. La formazione attuale è composta da James Johnston (voce, chitarra e organo, già nei Bad Seeds), Simon Wring (basso), Ian White (batteria), Terry Edwards (sax, organo), la stessa del disco “From The Heart Of Town” con cui si sono candidati nel ‘93 al Mercury Prize.
